Take Stock – Is Your Piano Practice Going Well?

One of the most frequent criticisms that I can offer  to all learners of the piano – whether self teaching or learning with a tutor – is that they are not necessarily given an opportunity to “take stock” before moving on. Therefore, all the habits of bad piano practice can carry forward and ultimately make a poor pianist of them, otherwise cause a complete roadblock and prevent them from progressing any further anyway.
